Here is some pupil guidance for resuming lessons. Please take the time to read and ask questions to ensure we all understand our roles, so we can keep everyone safe when we head back out on the road. Lessons will still be fun and enjoyable, however we MUST.
STAY ALERT CONTROL THE VIRUS SAVE LIVES
All lessons will be on a one to one basis to reduce the potential spread of the virus.
BEFORE YOUR LESSON
you need to ask yourself:
1) are you displaying any symptoms of COVID -19
2)You have not been in contact with anyone that is showing symptoms of COVID -19
3)You have not been instructed to self-isolate for any reason
It is important that you answer these questions honestly, as we do not want to put others at risk!
I will also ask myself, before I start every day. I will not hesitate to cancel a lesson if I show any symptoms of COVID -19. I would request you to do the same. The cancellation fee does not apply.
THE CAR WILL HAVE BEEN SANITISED BEFORE ARRIVAL
The car will be fully sprayed using a sanitising machine twice a day and overnight.
The dashboard will be frequently
wiped clean with 99% alcohol wipes
UV sanitising light will be run over all the seats and contact areas.
WHEN I ARRIVE FOR LESSON
Because of the ongoing sanitizing of the car I may be running a little bit late for your lesson.
When I arrive for the lesson please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds before you come to the car. I will be doing temp check with a thermometer to check your temperature, I will have a supply of Alcohol Hand Sanitizer and Wipes in the car, to be used as required during the lesson.
Please keep personal possessions to a minimum. to help stop spread the risk of infection
I’m not going to make face mask compulsory. But if you prefer to have one on feel free.
If you would like me to have one on, just text me and tell me to put it on.
Card and bank transfer. to minimise contact between us
DURING THE LESSON
The lesson content and structure will remain the same as before. I will ensure that aims and objectives are appropriate for you and remain client specific. It may be appropriate to go back to areas that you have covered before as it may have been a considerable amount of time since your last lesson.
Please try to avoid directly facing each other when discussing scenarios etc.
The windows will be open to some degree for ventilation, even in wet weather.
Discussions during the lesson may be held outside of the vehicle, which is a little different to what you have been used to.
AFTER THE LESSON
Once the session is finished wash your hands thoroughly for a minimum of 20 seconds. It may be advisable for you to change all of your clothes on return to home and wash them to help protect your household.
Thank you see you all very soon
PS I have installed an ejector seat, so if you sneeze or cough on the lesson its goodbye!
