After our daughter only deciding 10 days before her test that she wants to learn/pass in an automatic, we were somewhat left with what felt like an impossible task taking on an instructor with availability.
I spent an afternoon contacting all local learner driver companies in the area and felt like I'd hit a wall.
I then got a call a day later (just before my daughter was about to cancel the test) from Des at AB saying he'd be able to help.
Words cannot describe the admiration I have for both AB and Des in not only bending over backwards to do their best to help in such an tight time frame but also their professionalism in assisting our daughter to pass her test.

Thank you so so much to my instructor Kathy who was always so kind and patient and really helped my overcome driving anxiety. She always explained things clearly and until I understood and really believed in me which really helped my confidence and to believe in myself. The lessons were enjoyable and tailored to what I needed and I always felt at ease by Kathy's calm and friendly nature. She always went above and beyond and its clear she really cares about her students. I will really miss my lessons with her. I highly recommend her and already have to a relative. Also I want to give thanks to Adam who I started lessons with before changing over to automatic. I struggle with change and anxiety but he made sure the transition with smooth and what I needed to help with nerves and make it a positive experience. I'm so so grateful. Highly recommend, thank you so much!

thank you to my instructor kathy, I cant thank her enough. she gets to know her students on a personal level to understand them and how their mind works. I struggled with severe anxiety but she always found a way to calm me down and calmly talked me through steps. 10/10 on her patience, kindness and confidence in people who struggle to have confidence in themselves.

I cannot recommend the Anchor driving school highly enough. Lewis Constantine has taken all 3 of my children through their driving lessons and they all passed at their first attempt. He is a first class instructor, professional and courteous and my children looked forward to his lessons. Amazing driving school! Gary was a fabulous teacher who was really patient! They also went the extra mile to ensure that she was able to take her test at the last minute when Gary was not available! Highly recommend them!!!

what a fantastic driving school. Lewis has been an amazing instructor for my daughter Poppy. Passed her theory first time and then her practical first time. Would highly recommend this driving school. I came in with little to no driving experience and had an absolute joy learning from Gary, my instructor. He gave great tips, highlighted areas that I was not great at with tips as to how to improve, and most importantly kept my self esteem and interest in driving high by reassuring me with areas that I was good at. Had an amazing time with this school. Cannot thank Gary enough.

Always punctual and a great teacher, if you're worried about learning to drive like I was, I definetly recommend learning to drive here as driving is something relaxing instead of stressful for me now !

My son passed his test today, first time thanks to Lewis who has been absolutely amazing from start to finish! We found Lewis through recommendations on Facebook and I'm so glad we did, he gave huge confidence and encouragement to my son and a relaxed driving experience, he literally breezed through the test and he wouldn't have even had his test today if it wasn't for Lewis and everything he has done to help.
